These are used vehicles a bank most likely won’t write a loan on — either the price sits below the minimum amount most lenders will finance, or the combination of age, mileage, and how much the vehicle is still worth leaves too little for a lender to secure a loan against. They’re kept off the main inventory page so that anyone shopping for a monthly payment isn’t scrolling past cars that can’t become one.
A caveat worth being straight about: this is an estimate, not a credit decision. The listings don’t carry a book value, so this page can’t calculate a true loan-to-value ratio — it weighs age, mileage, and price the way an underwriter roughly would, and sorts on that. Your credit, your down payment, and which lender you go to all move the line, and some of these will finance for some buyers. If you want one of them financed, ask me and I’ll actually check rather than guess.
